WOMO Tour Great Britain
(2005)
In the spring of 2005, I embarked on a deeply special and defining three-month road trip across Great Britain in my camper van. My only companion on this long journey was my son Felipe, who was just nine months old when we set off and was one year old when we returned home. Traveling alone with a baby meant adapting to a unique, slow-paced rhythm: without a babysitter, my days were entirely focused on daytime excursions, exploring the historic landscapes, grand castles, and rolling hills before returning to the camper van each evening to watch the twilight fade. This journey was documented through the lens of an old analog SLR camera, using a limited supply of film rolls that alternated between vibrant color and moody black-and-white, capturing a raw and nostalgic portrait of the British countryside until the camera tragically broke at the very end of our adventure.
