The Panama hood is with a very good friend of mine whom I have known for decades. Rafael and his wife, Marina, have the beautiful piece hanging in their apartment and enjoy showing it to their guests.
Panama is a country with a fascinating history. While world-renowned for the Panama Canal, it has much more to offer travelers.
Like many other Latin American countries, Panama is home to numerous indigenous groups that can be encountered throughout the interior. Here is just a small selection of the most prominent tribes: the Ngäbe, Emberá, and Kuna.
