This hood would love to find a home in Hamburg... Hans Albers is likely the name everyone associates with the Reeperbahn. Yet, famous guests like Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles were just as likely to be found there as the Hells Angels and sailors from all over the world. The famous St. Pauli football club is also an integral part of the scene.

Every night, seven days a week, you can catch various shows and cabaret performances along the strip. Whether male or female, straight or gay, there is something for everyone. Alongside various theaters and a fairground, places like "Herbertstraße" are household names—though strictly off-limits to women! Brothels have been an inseparable part of the Reeperbahn since its early days... just as they are today. It is also interesting to note that there is a very special spot for BDSM enthusiasts: the Club de Sade in Hamburg’s St. Pauli district is one of the oldest BDSM clubs in Europe, having been founded in the 1960s. Hamburg’s Reeperbahn has long been known for its strip joints and raucous bars; there is always something going on, 24/7, every day of the year. The motto: the fewer the inhibitions, the wilder the fun.

A circus would surely love this hood! We would be delighted if the piece found a fitting place for display. The circus has captivated audiences for centuries—featuring performers with astonishing flexibility and daring stunts, whether on ladders, trapezes, or tightropes. It is always a breathtaking spectacle.

One watches in amazement as jugglers catch their balls, clubs, or rings, marveling at their dexterity. Alongside jugglers and acrobats, of course, no circus would be complete without fire-eaters, sword-swallowers, magicians, and clowns. In the past, tattooed performers and contortionists were also popular attractions. Animals have long been—and in some cases still are—an integral part of the circus, though it is essential that they be kept in species-appropriate conditions. From bears, elephants, lions, and tigers to seals and horses—the more exotic, the better.
