^°^FUNKY BEATZ ^°° (2026)
This hood has a specific history. I already introduced it in my post.
My son wanted the logo to incorporate two terms from the 70s: "F" for "funky" (also standing for his first name, Felipe) and "beatz"—with a "Z" at the end—representing his surname. This way, we were able to include his initials in the logo as well.
The "Kammgarnspinnerei" and the "Kesselhaus" are two former textile industry buildings in Augsburg. Together with the Augsburg skyline, the site is intended to replace the "Bronx"—the birthplace of breakdancing. The tram takes the place of the subway, and—naturally—Jim Knopf from the Augsburger Puppenkiste simply has to be included.
DJ Kool Herc simply cannot be left out—the father of hip-hop. The "Stoinerne Mo" is located right by the old city wall and has been adorned with my old graffiti, and the ghetto blaster even doubles as a sound system.
The sides of the counter were spray-painted and decorated with two stencils of our dogs, Fido and Enaya, as well as caricatures of us.
As well, I "tagged" the counter with permanent markers.
