Welcome to the rooftop terrace... which also often serves as a workshop.In most cases, "everything" begins on the roof terrace!
The terrace is the central hub of our projects in many ways. Ideas for our projects are born up there, implementation and further steps are discussed here, and it's often transformed into a workshop. Why? ...Quite simply! Many of the preparatory tasks, such as sanding, priming, cleaning, and the actual craftwork, take place primarily on the terrace. So you could say our rooftop terrace is an idea factory, development department, office, showroom, experimental laboratory, and, of course, workshop. But I can assure you... we also love using it simply as an "outdoor living room"... after all, we didn't build a snack bar and a bar for nothing.
When the terrace is in "workshop mode," I, Felix, am the one who lets my passion run wild. Mary would say, "Felix is standing in his playroom, amidst chaos, having a confetti party," but I call it creative mayhem. You're probably wondering what she means by that. It's Mary's affectionate way of saying: Felix is standing on the roof terrace, surrounded by tools, wildly throwing saw blades, drill bits, and wood shavings around like they're confetti.

Marble Run
Building your own marble run might sound crazy. And it probably is! But we like to be a little crazy and had an incredible amount of fun building our marble run. We used all sorts of things that everyone recognizes: toys from my and my son's childhood, but also things that would otherwise be thrown away, like corks or leftover pieces of wood from our new patio. Do you know the song "My Marble Run"? The song is spot on... watching the marble and switching off – fun for young and old alike. We've sat in front of it countless times, completely captivated. |
