It doesn't always have to be metal - more airbrush projects

On this page, I showcase airbrush projects created on surfaces other than just metal. Whether it’s plastic, acrylic glass, or wood—it is always possible.

"PUNX SKI" (2026)

Spraying skis in my "splash of color" style is no problem for me either. These belong to Felix—who, it’s worth mentioning, built them out of wood himself. The punk design was a natural choice for him, given that he’s a punk. And I think everyone knows where my motifs come from: my "Punx" car hood.

"Flip's Snowboard" (2025)

My son Felipe’s snowboard actually has a pretty wild story behind it. He had been in a motorcycle accident and could barely walk, yet he still had final exams at school. So, Felix and I decided to drive him there and take the dogs for a walk in the area while we waited. Nearby was the old railway park—an abandoned site—where we found this snowboard; it was in perfect condition but had simply been discarded. Naturally, we took it with us to turn it into a fantastic new piece for Felipe.

° TIGERLILY ° (2026)

It was actually supposed to be a puzzle, but Felix couldn't bring himself to cut up the wooden panel. So, it remained intact and is now being hung up as a picture. It depicts our Land Rover, "Tigerlily," which is currently (in 2026) being converted into an expedition vehicle. We plan to take it not only into the desert but also—as shown in the picture—into the jungle.

°° B-Boys °° (2026)

Since we were hosting a "Funky Beatz" breakdance battle in March 2026, I spray-painted a skateboard with b-boys for the occasion.

A piece of bulletproof glass we found while cleaning out the attic. I immediately wanted to spray-paint three portraits of Janis Joplin on it. Here is the result.

Sometimes I get creative in a different way. Here, I’ve created some stone frames using stones and seashells from my travels around the world. The selfie shows Melek and our dog Fido—a photo of that exists, too ;-)

"Kitchen Projects" (2025/26)

It was time to renovate the kitchen again. I couldn't help myself and embellished it with various airbrush designs.

(2023)

If you look more closely, you realize that these women are all flamenco dancers. These designs actually appear on the "Haarwerke" hood—a piece of car-part art—that hangs in my friends Sibel and Gela's hair salon.

I love the girls at my hair salon, "Haarwerke," so naturally I had to spray-paint this mirror. And the best part is that the custom wooden frame Felix built gives it the perfect finishing touch.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, which design is the fairest of them all? Here I present my various mirror collections of Indians, the dance Tango or animals typical from the Antarctic, all waiting to be fitted with a beautiful wooden frame and be hanged up at some beautiful homes ;-)

++ VIETNAM ++ (2023)

With these designs on the skateboard, it’s easy to guess where my stencils come from. That’s right—from the hood of my car, "Vietnam."

`MOPEDS ´(2023)

My skateboard "Mopeds" has also found a new home—specifically in beautiful Austria, near Salzburg, with our dear lecturer Dominik, who was our housemate for two years.
This time, my designs come from my car hood called "Motorcycle History".

`Skate Pura Vida ´(2023)

Mary and I are happy to announce that one of the paint splash artworks has found a new home.
The skateboard "Pura Vida", with motifs from Costa Rica, is now hanging in the "Black Angel" in Munich. We are especially pleased that a good friend of Mary's spotted it on our website and immediately bought it for the reopening of her pub. We also find it particularly interesting that the current owners have a strong connection to Costa Rica, as one of them lived there for a long time.
We say thank you and are delighted that it can be seen by all guests.

° Vinyl Rasta ° & ° Vinyl Arabian Fairy Tale ° (2023)

Vinyl records—why not? It was bound to happen eventually, and here you see the first two records I spray-painted in 2023. Once again, these designs can also be found on my "1001 Nights" and "Rastafari" car hoods.

^^JUNGLE ^^(2023)

"Jungle" was spray-painted onto an acrylic sheet, and Felix added a wooden frame. It features motifs from my "Pura Vida" car hood, which is dedicated to the flora and fauna of Costa Rica.

°@° Flower Power °@° (2023)

Acrylic sheets are sometimes a great alternative for creating an image. This time, I tried out some old stencils I’ve had for a while and created another "Flower Power" piece. Felix built the sexy pink wooden frame to go with it.

°° PC LOLA °° (2023)

Who remembers them? Those old computer cases—usually made of metal. They offer a fantastic surface for creating a cool design. Here, I’ve once again used my "Lola" motif, combining elements from old stencils I used on some of my car hoods.
If you look closely, you might recognize the designs. That's right—they are from my car hood called the "Reeperbahn".

" On any Sunday" (2023)

Before I wanted to spray-paint my "On Any Sunday" designs onto car hoods, I first used three metal plates. They later became part of our kitchen.

Mountains (2023)

As the name "Mountains" suggests, the theme here is climbing. This time, the designs were spray-painted onto wooden panels and have become part of our kitchen.

= Vintage Girls = (2023)

"Vintage Girls" was the second piece I had sprayed—using glass from an old display cabinet. Felix worked his magic on this one, too, creating a beautiful wooden frame. As you can see in the photos, the background color shifts depending on the wall color; it creates an incredible effect against a colored wall.

= Vintage Lola = (2023)

"Vintage Lola" was spray-painted onto an old glass pane from a display cabinet, and Felix built a beautiful wooden frame for it. There is only one photo, as this lovely piece has found a new home with my neighbor Manu.

" The Dog ABC " (2023)

My "Dog ABC" consists of around 50 different dog breeds that I spray-painted onto two large wooden panels. Many of these designs are available for purchase on T-shirts, mugs, and other items via Redbubble and Spreadshirt.
