HOODS & METAL
My projects are very exciting! In 2012 I started with stencil art done by airbrush or spraypaint. For the surface, I prefer either car hoods, bike tanks or metal plates, but as well toilet lids or plastic. The only difference is that I install lights, pearls, feathers, etc. on my hoods and plates, so it's more a hood for decoration purpose than being used on a car. My style, of course, are still my comic figures, but also new influences which find a place in my art. I love the "doodle" and experience a lot more with colours now than before, and talk about themes which are not so much pornographic but nostalgic.
I have immortalized a large part of my art on car and motorcycle parts. You might be wondering why. I needed a canvas for my art that offered enough space, allowed paints and finishes to adhere well, and simply looked stylish. I hope you enjoy browsing through the pieces. :-)

I have the hoods I designed during my first two years at home. Initially, I worked with just a single stencil, until I decided to switch to a three-stencil setup. Anyone who would like to see these pieces is welcome to do so.
Jimi Hendrix or Jazz contra Samba? (2013/14)

First, I like to present to you how my idea with hood got started. It had to become a Jimi Hendrix but soon it turned out to be a Jazz band with 2 dancing Samba girls aside. Above, you will find the famous boulevard dancer "Josephine Baker". I liked the way how they all have something in common but are in their way completly different...
